What is Keyword Research?

Keyword Research ek process hai jisme hum aise words aur phrases dhoondhte hain jo log Google ya kisi bhi search engine mein search karte hain.
Ye SEO ka sabse pehla aur important step hota hai.

Agar aap sahi keyword use karte ho, to aapki website ya blog post search results mein upar dikhegi, jiska matlab hai zyada traffic aur zyada readers/customers.

Example :  Jaise agar koi “best phone under 15000” search karta hai, to yeh ek keyword hua.

Aap apne blog ya website mein aisi hi searched queries ko target karte ho jisse aapki site search results mein aaye aur traffic mile.

Why is Keyword Research Important?

Aapko lagta hai jo aap likh rahe ho wo log padhenge – lekin agar uss topic ko koi search hi nahi kar raha, to aapka content waste ho sakta hai.

Short-tail keywords wo hote hain jo 1 ya 2 shabdon ke chhote aur general keywords hote hain. Ye broad topic ko cover karte hain.

  • Zyada competition hota hai

2. Long-Tail Keywords

Long-tail keywords 3 ya usse zyada shabdon wale specific aur detailed keywords hote hain. Ye ek particular query ko target karte hain.

  • Kam competition + zyada targeted users

  • Asaani se rank karne ke chances

Why is it important?

Inka search volume kam ho sakta hai, lekin ye zyada targeted hote hain.

3. LSI Keywords (Latent Semantic Indexing)

LSI keywords wo hote hain jo aapke main keyword se related hote hain. Ye Google ko help karte hain samajhne ke liye ki aapka content kis topic pe hai.

Yeh steps follow karo:

Sochiye ki aapka user kya search karega? Uske dard (pain points), doubts aur needs kya hain?

Kisi keyword ko use karne se pehle uske 3 cheezein dekho:

  • Search Volume – Har month kitne log search kar rahe hain

  • Keyword Difficulty (KD) – Us keyword pe rank karna easy hai ya tough?

  • CPC (Cost Per Click) – Kitna paisa log ads mein laga rahe hain (commercial value)

Step 4: Choose Smart Keywords

Long-tail keywords choose karo jinka search volume accha ho, lekin difficulty kam ho.
